Seeing the date of my last journal entry, made me feel ashamed to even call myself a member of the deviantArt community. That's not to say I'll update it more often but hey; still ashamed.

I used to be more active in submitting pieces of art, but now my submitting rate seems to have dropped dramatically. Don't get me wrong, I still do art of all shapes and sizes, but recently they're either:

A) Unfinished. And I more often than not don't have the urge to finish them.
B) For school. So the idea and concept behind them are so poor that even if it's good quality, I still wouldn't want to show anyone anyway.

Also, schoolwork is having a big impact on the amount of art I'd want to make. Instead of using time to doodle or start full scale art pieces, I find myself thinking, "Zack. You're an idiot, you've still got 4 pieces of coursework left to do" and the fear of not getting them done in time causes me to put all my pencils and papers (and tablets) away for the time being.

Still, I probably owe you all more stuff, so I might have something up soon like one of my patchwork pieces, but don't quote me on that.
